The Form of Design

Primary Solids
Primary solids are when the original shapes are made into volumetric forms that are easy to recognize. Such as a circle turning into a spare, a triangle turning into a permit, and squares turning into cubes.

The image I chose was a pyramid which is a good representation of a primary solid. Which a pyramid is a triangle a two- dimensional shape turned into a three- dimensional form called a pyramid.

Dimensional Transformation
Dimensional transformation is done by altering a shape or form and still being able to maintain it’s an identity as the particular form.

The image I chose is rectangular forms that go in and out of each other, and as you look at this object, you can see a whole rectangle being the entire form and the rectangle has been altered, and they all vary in size to create this building.

 Subtractive Forms
Subtractive forms are planes or volume that is removed or altering its original shape. Most architecture persons use this in their day-to-day building.

 Additive Forms:
Additive forms are created by adding another form to its volume because these forms can grow and merge all the forms together and they are categorized in different sections such as centralize forms, linear forms, radial forms, and clustered forms.

Formal collision of geometry:
This is when two forms that differ in geometry collide together into each other‘s boundaries. These forms are categorized in many other sections such as Circle and Square, Rotated Grid, Articulation of Form, Edges, and Corners, and Surfaces

The image I chose represented the circle and square, and this is described as the interlocking of two shapes that overlap which will be the circle and the Square overlapping together which was the plan of the pantheon were taken by the circle in the square.
